Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between SELGATE Healthcare Sdn Bhd and MTT Properties & Development Sdn Bhd
On 17 February 2022, SELGATE Healthcare Sdn Bhd and MTT Properties & Development Sdn Bhd signed an a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to jointly develop a private specialist hospital in Bandar Baru Air Putih, Balik Pulau, within the Botanica.CT township. SELGATE aims to expand affordable, quality private healthcare in underserved areas, targeting seven hospitals with about 1,000 beds within five years. MTT Properties & Development Sdn. Bhd. has allocated five acres of land for its first healthcare venture, which will be the first private specialist hospital in Balik Pulau, supporting the township’s self-sustainability and complementing Eden at Botanica CT, as an integrated aged care facility. The collaboration covers land acquisition, hospital master planning, and development, and is expected to enhance healthcare access while creating local employment opportunities.
